OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Hall's Canine Armada we are committed to the Golden Retriever. Our goal is to carefully breed our dogs to achieve puppies with excellent temperament and health while adhering to the American Kennel Club standards for the breed. Our puppies are bred from Golden Retrievers which have full health clearances. They are from excellent field trial and show stock, lines that have responded well to training as well as being delightful companions.
ABOUT US
Hall's Canine Armada is a small kennel on five acres located in Georgetown, California, approximately 1 hour from Sacramento. We are located in a very pretty country setting, nestled in the evergreens and oaks.
First and foremost, our dogs are an important part of our lives, they are family. We spend much time with our dogs, playing outside and enjoying their company inside our home. We enhance the bond we share with our dogs by training them for obedience and agility, work we all enjoy.
Because of our love for the breed, we are agents for Northern California Golden Retriever Rescue (NGRR). We foster and assist in placing needy Goldens as well as raise funds for their care.
ABOUT GOLDEN RETRIEVERS
Golden Retrievers are a powerful, active and well balanced breed. They possess a personality that is eager, affectionate and self-confident which makes them an ideal sportsman's companion, family pet or service dog. Goldens love to play, retrieve and swim yet are able to enjoy the quiet moments in life. Goldens prefer human companionship and are gentle and patient with children.
PURCHASING A GOLDEN RETRIEVER
Your puppy's purchase price may be a smidgen of what you spend over its lifetime. Think ahead to 10-12 years of veterinary bills and the importance of choosing a puppy whose ancestors have been screened for common health issues which have a genetic basis.
AKC registration simply means the sire and dam of your Golden Retriever are the same breed. It does NOT guarantee health, temperament, structural soundness or breeding quality.
The best source of a healthy, well-socialized puppy is a conscientious breeder with a long-term commitment to the breed and a reputation to uphold.
